We are excited to unveil the collaborative Dutch National Ballet short film 'Biomimicry' — exploring the metamorphic force in which fashion and dance interlace.

The film, directed by Ryan McDaniels, levitates the mesmeric dancer Jingjing Mao to undulate into liquescent shapes, transcending her myriad of movements in search for freedom of form.
Dazing in the warm shades of technicoloured organza and translucent 3D hand-casted PU, Mao defies gravity in this synergic collaboration that comes as a natural evolution of Iris van Herpen’s background in classical ballet.
